The Scottish Building Contract Committee Limited ('SBCC') wishes to make it clear that all rights in documents published on behalf of SBCC and in respect of SBCC text in general are reserved. No part of any SBCC document may be produced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted, in any form or by any means, without the prior permission of SBCC, except as permitted for those entering into a licence agreement in respect of SBCC Online or as permitted by the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. So as to avoid any doubt on this matter a copyright line is to be printed on each page of all SBCC documents.

The publisher of the relevant SBCC document needs SBCC's agreement to grant a licence to reproduce SBCC copyright material. SBCC wishes to make it known that it will not agree to grant a licence to use SBCC text in production of bespoke contracts, other than through the use of SBCC Online.
